China is currently stocking the Xiaomi SU7 electric vehicle in retail outlets. Following the EV’s formal introduction on December 28, this is happening. With a 495kW electric motor and a 101kWh CATL Qilin battery, the Xiaomi SU7 has an 800km range. Less than twenty-four hours following its formal introduction, it made its way to its first Xiaomi store.

Being a major player in the electronics industry, Xiaomi has expanded its business strategy by entering the EV production space. The vehicle will go into mass production in H1 2024, and deliveries will happen a few months later. Despite being branded as Xiaomi, the SU7 will be put together in a BAIC. The Xiaomi store located in the company’s headquarters in Xiaomi Science and Technology Park, Shangdi, Beijing, is where the Xiaomi SU7 electric automobile was initially observed. Before being sold in China, the model will also be on display at other Xiaomi flagship locations throughout the country.

Prior to being on sale, the Xiaomi SU7 will first be available in Xiaomi stores as display vehicles. By Q1 2024, the first show cars should be available in all Xiaomi stores. Staff members claim that a large number of the Mi Stores are too tiny and situated on the ground floor of the mall. This makes it challenging to display the SU7, yet some of the establishments should undergo improvements.

There will be three colour options for the Xiaomi SU7: Aqua Blue, Verdant Green, and Mineral Grey. Similar colours to the SU7 were used in the debut of various Xiaomi accessories, watches, and smartphones.

All Xiaomi devices, including the SU7, will run the HyperOS operating system in place of the current one. Xiaomi developed HyperOS. This would allow for seamless connectivity and an excellent digital experience across all Xiaomi devices inside its ecosystem.

The Xiaomi SU7’s pricing is yet unknown, however some estimates put its price as high as 300,000 yuan ($42,306).
