Tomorrow in China, Honour will introduce the Honour Magic 6 range of smartphones. The company will release the Magic OS 8.0 for the domestic market today. DCS disclosed the camera characteristics of next flagship phones with a focus on photography in its most recent leak. Thus, it seems that he might be referring to the Magic 6 and 6 Pro. According to the leak, the base model will include a 32-megapixel telephoto camera with support for 2.5x optical zoom, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 50-megapixel primary camera.
The Honour Magic 6 Pro, on the other hand, will include three cameras: a 180-megapixel (1/1.49-inch) periscope telephoto camera with 2.5x optical zoom, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 50-megapixel primary camera with a 1/1.3-inch image sensor. The tipster provided no information regarding the camera characteristics of the rumoured Honour Magic 6 RSR, a special edition created in association with Porsche Design Studio.
The Magic 6 RSR may be the first smartphone in history to have a one-inch OmniVision OV50K primary camera, according to sources. It is expected to have a periscope telephoto camera and an ultra-wide lens, however specifications are still pending.
The Honour Magic 6 series is reportedly going to sport a 5,400mAh battery that supports 66W charging. However, the 5,600mAh battery of the Magic 6 Pro and Magic 6 RSR will enable both 88W wired and 66W wireless charging.
