The Xiaomi 14 Ultra, the company’s forthcoming flagship smartphone, is partially revealed.
Lei Jun, the CEO of the firm, posted a couple pictures of the new phone on X/Twitter. With a textured back, a huge round camera bump with four lenses on the back, and strong Leica branding, the design is reminiscent of the Xiaomi 13 Ultra.
Jun posted images of the 14 Ultra in both its new white and black colour; the 13 Ultra, its predecessor, was only available in black and olive green.
The business revealed a few more facts regarding the future device on Weibo (via Android Central). Xiaomi claims that the phone would feature a new, curved back design along with a slightly curved screen.
In terms of specifications, the primary camera will be 50 megapixels as before, in addition to a 50 megapixel telephoto camera with an optical zoom of 3.2x and a separate 50 megapixel periscope telephoto camera with an optical magnification of 5x. Although details about the ultra-wide camera are unknown, it most likely has a 50-megapixel sensor as well.
The Xiaomi 14 Ultra’s launch date was also disclosed by Xiaomi. Ahead of the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona on February 25, the phone will be revealed in China on February 22 and then go worldwide on February 25.
