Samsung Confirms that the One UI 6.1 Update for These Galaxy Smartphones will be Available Later This Month
Samsung is confirming that One UI 6.1 will be available on a limited number of Galaxy smartphones in the coming weeks, which means that the company’s major Galaxy AI update is almost here.
Samsung revealed One UI 6.1 as its upcoming major update back in February, with the primary goal of bringing Galaxy AI features to select last-generation smartphones. Samsung stated that the update would be available in “late March” at the time, and as that date approaches, it is restating that commitment.
Samsung states that One UI 6.1 will be accessible on a few Galaxy devices “from the end of this month” in a blog post from Korea.
Which gadgets will receive One UI 6.1? Samsung has officially announced the initial list of devices that will have Galaxy AI features. These gadgets consist of:
- S23 Galaxy
- S23+ Galaxy
- S23 Ultra Galaxy
- Galaxy S23 FE
- The Galaxy Z Fold 5
- Galaxy Z Flip 5
- Galaxy Tab S9
- Samsung Tab S9+
- Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra
Samsung hasn’t updated the list with any new gadgets yet.
In the meanwhile, Samsung is demonstrating Galaxy AI features in its Hongdae store in Korea, where customers can see live demonstrations of the functions on a range of devices. From March 15 through March 30, Samsung is also offering free Galaxy SmartTag 2 trackers to customers who buy any Galaxy AI-eligible handset.
