Volvo has announced that its entry-level SUV, the EX30, will go on sale in India by 2025.

Exterior

Volvo’s EX30 SUV has an exterior that adheres to the brand’s minimalistic style. Its front LED daytime running lights are shaped like hammers, and the grille is closed off to reveal the Volvo emblem. The air dams and ADAS radar are located in the front bumper.

It has up to 20-inch aerodynamic alloy wheels on the flanks, along with black paint on the top and the A, B, and C pillars. Rear-facing linked LED tail lights with a stylish C-shape design are a nod to Volvo’s larger SUVs, the XC60 and XC90.

Volvo EX30 Interior

Its inside features a dual-tone dashboard painted in black and denim, a single 12.3-inch vertically oriented display, and a contemporary 3-spoke steering wheel with vertical AC vents. There are also other themes available for the cabin, including two versions with dual tones.

Expected Features

The international-spec EX30 boasts a 9.-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, wireless phone charging, dual-zone climate control, heated front seats and steering wheel, and a 12.3-inch vertically oriented touchscreen system with wireless Apple CarPlay functionality.

Safety Net

A plethora of safety features, including several airbags, a 360-degree camera, a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), and advanced driving assistance systems (ADAS) that include park assist, accident avoidance, and driver attentiveness warning, are available for the EX30 internationally.

Expected Price And Rivals

The Volvo EX30 is anticipated to retail for Rs 50 lakh (ex-showroom) in India, where it will compete directly with the Ioniq 5. It may also serve as a high-end substitute for the Atto 3 SUV and a more affordable option than the BYD Seal.
