An anime film called “The Colours Within” is scheduled to be released later in the month. Recently, a number of trailers for the movie have been released; the first official one was released on March 21, 2024.

‘The Colours Within’ Plot Details

The movie’s trailer features the following description:

“The story centers on a Totsuko, a high school girl who can see the “colors” of the emotions in people’s hearts. She attends a mission school in Nagasaki. In order to keep her friends and family from feeling dark feelings, she worries, reads situations, and even lies to smooth things over. At an antique bookshop in the corner of town, she meets a beautiful woman with an incredibly beautiful color and a music-loving boy trying to put together a band. The story follows these three sensitive people who gather together to play in a band.”

It’s supposed to be a lighthearted tale with a hint of fantasy, a high school slice of life, and some drama.

‘The Colours Within’ Cast and Crew

Naoko Yamada, who has directed films like as K-ON!, The Heike Story, and A Silent Voice, will helm the film.

Wakana Okamura, Genki Kawamura, and Kouhei Sakita are among the producers on the list.

Voice acting credits go to Taisei Kido, Akari Takaishi, and Sayu Suzukawa for the three main characters.

Release Date Of The Film

On August 30th, the movie opens in Japanese theatres and on other platforms.
