Vivo X200 Series Unveiled: MediaTek Dimensity 9400 Chipset and Advanced 200MP Camera

In China, Vivo has formally revealed its much awaited X200 series, displaying a portfolio that blends state-of-the-art technology with remarkable features. The X200, X200 Pro, and the recently released X200 Pro tiny—the first tiny variation in the X-series—are the three models in the series.

Powerful Performance

MediaTek’s flagship Dimensity 9400 chipset, which has the cutting-edge Cortex-Z924 super core and is clocked at 2.62GHz, powers the X200 Pro and Pro Mini. These devices are ideal for demanding apps, gaming, and multitasking because of their strong processor, which guarantees quick and effective performance. To accommodate users that require a lot of memory for their tasks, the X200 series includes models with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage.

Camera Excellence

Outstanding mobile photography has been the foundation of Vivo’s reputation, and the X200 series carries on that heritage. The X200 Pro and Pro Mini have an amazing triple rear camera configuration with Zeiss-tuned lenses. With its innovative 200MP Zeiss APO telephoto camera, which has an f/2.67 aperture and a 3.7x optical zoom, users can take breathtaking pictures from a distance. A 50MP ultra-wide sensor and a Sony LYT-818 primary sensor are also included for wide-angle landscape photography.

Stunning Displays

The X200 series’ display technology is equally impressive. The X200 Pro’s gorgeous 6.78-inch Quad Curved LTPO display ensures visibility even in direct sunshine thanks to its remarkable peak brightness of 4500 nits and smooth 120Hz refresh rate. To accommodate varying user preferences, the normal X200 sports a 6.67-inch quad-curved screen, while the X200 Pro Mini has a slightly smaller 6.31-inch flat display.

Charging and Battery Life

Another noteworthy aspect of the X200 series is its battery life. The basic X200 has a 5800mAh battery, the Pro Mini has a 5700mAh battery, and the X200 Pro has a sturdy 6000mAh battery. To enable customers to swiftly recharge and maintain connectivity throughout the day, all models support 30W wireless charging in addition to 90W wired charging.

Pricing and Availability

Vivo X200 Pro prices start at CNY 5,299 (about Rs 62,000) for the 12GB/256GB variant, CNY 4,699 (roughly Rs 55,700) for the Pro Mini, and CNY 4,300 (roughly Rs 51,000) for the basic X200. In China, pre-orders are now open, and the phones should be available on October 19.

Looking Ahead: India Launch

The X200 series is anticipated to continue Vivo’s custom of releasing its X series in India towards the end of the year. The X200 series is a significant breakthrough for Vivo and tech aficionados alike, as it is poised to change smartphone standards in 2024.
