OnePlus 13 Revealed, October 31 Launch Date in China: Look at the Features and Design

OnePlus has announced that the OnePlus 13 smartphone, the company’s next flagship, will go on sale in China on October 31. OnePlus unveiled the smartphone’s initial appearance along with the launch date. Significant design modifications are made to smartphones with the OnePlus 13, which includes a new back panel design, a flat display, and a flat frame.

OnePlus 13: Design

On its Chinese website, OnePlus has released a number of pictures of the upcoming OnePlus 13 smartphone. Like its predecessor, the OnePlus 13 has a circular camera module on the back. The Hasselblad emblem, however, is now engraved on the right side, above a thin metal bar that spans the smartphone’s width. The gadget has a flat metallic frame that sits between a rear panel with a similar design and a quad-curved display. Furthermore, the edges of the OnePlus 13 are slightly slanted to produce an octagonal appearance, in contrast to conventional frame designs with rounded corners.

On the left side of the OnePlus 13 is the Alert Slider, while on the right side are the power and volume keys. White Dew Dawn, Blue Moment, and Obsidian Secret Realm (Black) are the three colours that OnePlus has displayed for the smartphone.

OnePlus 13: Expected Specifications

OnePlus has revealed ahead of launch that the OnePlus 13 would offer magnetic wireless charging, akin to Apple’s MagSafe technology, and be powered by the next Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 CPU. The company also revealed that BOE’s second-generation Oriental display, which has a quad-curved design and uses low-temperature polycrystalline oxide (LTPO) technology for adaptive refresh rate adjustments, will be included on the flagship smartphone. It is anticipated that the display will have a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz and 2K resolution.

The 50MP Sony LYT 808 primary camera sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS) is anticipated to be a feature of the OnePlus 13. It will probably be paired with a 50MP telephoto lens and an ultra-wide-angle lens (Sony LYT-600). A 6000mAh battery, created with the company’s Glacier Battery technology, which was introduced earlier this year, is also expected to be included with the smartphone.

Additionally, OnePlus has declared that this month it will release the OxygenOS 15 user interface for its smartphones, which is based on Android 15. This means that when the OnePlus 13 is released outside of China, perhaps before the end of this year, it will be the first smartphone to have the new software.
