On December 4, Honda is scheduled to reveal the third-generation Amaze sedan’s pricing in India. The next Honda Amaze, a strong competitor to the fourth-generation Maruti Suzuki Dzire, will be an improvement over the 2018 model.
The new Amaze features a strong, broad hexagonal grille with a honeycomb pattern on either side of slim LED headlamps and LED daytime running lamps. There are big air dam recesses on each corner of the sharp front bumper. The facelifted Amaze appears to have new alloy wheels from the side view. The huge Amaze badging in the centre of the rear combo lamps gives them a sporty appearance.
New Honda Amaze: Interior
The dashboard arrangement of the “spacious modern cabin” is comparable to that of the Elevate, while the upholstery and trim choices are different. A floating touchscreen infotainment system, a semi-digital instrument cluster, an HVAC panel, automatic climate control, a 3-spoke steering wheel, a sound system, Type C charging outlets, and wireless charging are among the new Amaze’s features. Additionally, wireless connectivity for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto is probably going to be available at launch. Regarding safety, the car will have an ADAS (advanced driver assistance systems) suite, which is a first for the Amaze segment.
New Honda Amaze: Powertrain
A 1.2-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine mated to a CVT gearbox or a 5-speed manual gearbox is anticipated to power the new Honda Amaze. A CNG drivetrain is probably going to be added to Honda’s portfolio in the future.
