The 2024 BMW M340i, a performance sedan with significant upgrades, was introduced in India. The German automaker has started taking reservations for the new M340i, which has an ex-showroom price of 74.90 lakh. After making its debut in India in 2021, the BMW M340i got a makeover the following year.
Arctic Race Blue and Fire Red are the two new paint options available for the 2024 BMW M340i. M-specific ORVM housings and a black kidney grille are features of the external design. The sedan is equipped with blue-highlighted adaptive LED headlights and wraparound LED taillights. These consist of functions like cornering lights and variable light control. The sedan now has new 19-inch M-spec alloy wheels and M Sport brakes thanks to the modification.
2024 BMW M340i: Interior and Tech
The cabin has M-spec features including blue contrast stitching and upholstery in Alcantara/Sensatec. The carbon fibre trim on the centre console extends to the dashboard. The M340i is additionally outfitted with BMW’s Live Cockpit Professional, which consists of a 12.3-inch digital cluster and a curved 14.9-inch infotainment display with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
By placing a compatible smartphone near to the door handle, the driver can unlock the 2024 M340i thanks to the BMW Digital Key. 2024 BMW M340i: Powertrain and Performance
A 3.0-liter turbocharged inline six-cylinder engine with a peak torque of 500 Nm and 374 horsepower powers the BMW M340i. Power is distributed to all four wheels through the M Sport differential when the unit is coupled to an 8-speed automatic transmission. BMW also sells the M340i with rear-wheel drive worldwide.
Three different driving modes—Comfort, Sport, and Sport+—are available to the driver of the M340i, which also has adaptive M-specific suspension with variable shock absorber adjustment. The Dynamic Stability Control has three more parameters that the user can modify to suit their chosen driving style or the state of the road.
