Mahindra XEV 9e and BE 6e: Specs
Mahindra plans to install two different kinds of EV batteries in the XEV 9e and BE 6e electric SUVs. R Velusamy, who leads Mahindra’s automotive technology division, claims that the company’s next electric vehicles would be powered by a 59kWh and 79kWh battery pack. The two EVs are built on Mahindra’s new INGLO platform, which will work with DC fast chargers and utilise Blade battery technology that was acquired from the massive Chinese EV manufacturer BYD. On a single charge, the two batteries should provide a range of 450–500 miles.
