Hyundai Creta Electric was Revealed Ahead of its Release

  • Will arrive with two battery pack options
  • To be launched in India on 17 January

Ahead of its January 17 introduction, Hyundai has shown the Creta Electric. The model will be available with two battery pack configurations and will make its debut at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Global Expo.

A blanked-out grille with a charging port, updated front and rear bumpers with modified skid plates, blacked-out ORVMs, new 17-inch alloy wheels with aero inserts, active air flaps up front, LED light bars at the front and rear, a tailgate badge that reads “electric,” and a frunk are all features of the new Creta Electric’s design.

A panoramic sunroof, two 10.25-inch screens, an ADAS suite, V2L technology, a new central console, a rotary driving mode dial, a 360-degree camera, shift-by-wire technology, and a digital key are among features that the 2025 Hyundai Creta EV will have inside.

There will be two battery pack options available for the future Creta Electric: 51.4kWh and 42kWh units. It is stated that the range is 473 km and 390 km, respectively. With the aid of a DC fast charger, it can be charged from 10 to 80 percent in 58 minutes, whilst an 11kW wall-mounted home charger can reach 10 to 100 percent in four hours. When it launches, it will compete with the Tata Curvv EV, the MG ZS EV, and other new vehicles including the Honda Elevate-based EV, the Mahindra BE 6, and the Maruti e-Vitara.
