NASA Astronauts Stranded for 9 Months Finally Coming Home | Crew-10 Rescues Stranded Astronauts

For nearly nine months, NASA astronauts Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams have been stuck aboard the International Space Station (ISS) due to delays in their return mission. But now, relief is finally on the way. NASA SpaceX rocket launch with SpaceX Crew-10 has successfully lifted off to bring them home.

NASA SpaceX Rocket Launch: Why Were These Astronauts Stranded?

Wilmore and Williams arrived at the ISS in June 2024 aboard Boeing’s Starliner, which was supposed to return them safely to Earth after a short mission. However, technical issues with the Starliner’s propulsion system forced NASA to delay their return multiple times.

While the astronauts continued their work on the ISS, their extended stay became an unexpected record-setting mission. NASA confirmed that safety was their top priority, but fans worldwide started calling them the “Stranded Astronauts.”
