It’s possible that OnePlus’ most recent glimpse of its upcoming flagship smartphone unintentionally confirmed another, less official leak that claims to have captured one of its new finish variants in the wild. A remarkably instructive image of its new, purportedly class-leading screen was also included.
Given that it looks to be running ColorOS 14, the live image claims to verify that the panel is curved and that it does, in fact, belong to the Chinese version of the OnePlus 12 (or PJD110). The settings of the Android 14-based ROM supposedly include a product info page that displays all of the important specifications of the 12 on a single screen.
They mention triple rear cameras, which are the same as those in the OEM’s new foldable smartphone and were previously confirmed by OnePlus. Also, it looks like the 12 will have the 32MP selfie camera from the Open, placed in the centre of the much-discussed punch-hole display.
In light of this, it appears that the latest leak verifies—for the first time—that the screen’s diagonal length will measure 6.82 inches. As seen in the photo, the screen has an expanded 5,400mAh battery to match that generational rise over the 11. Lastly, with 24GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage, this purported model of the 12 is likely its top-end SKU.
