Apple released iOS 16.2 beta 4 to developers on Thursday, following the Wednesday release of iOS 16.1.2 for iPhone users. Apple has been testing new betas for watchOS 9.2, tvOS 16.2, and macOS Ventura 13.1 in addition to iOS 16.2. Find out what’s new in these updates in detail below.
iPadOS 16.2 and iOS 16.2 both feature significant modifications. iPad, iPhone, and Mac users now have access to the Freeform collaboration app. There are additional changes to the Home application, and updates to the Climate application, and that’s just the beginning.
Apple also released a “Rapid Security Response” update on November 28 for iOS 16.2 beta users. Apple will be able to quickly fix security flaws without having to release a new iOS version just for this once the feature is made available to everyone.
