It has been explained that Apple intends to release the thinnest iPhone, MacBook Pro, and Apple Watch models to date.
This follows the company’s recent Let Loose event, where its sleekest iPad Pro was unveiled.
As per Mark Gurman of Bloomberg, the tech giant is currently concentrating on a “‘skinnier’ iPhone 17 model that will be released in 2025.”
There are plans to overhaul the MacBook Pro and Apple Watch in a similar manner.
Apple’s new line of ultra-thin devices
Apple plans for the iPad Pro to mark the launch of a new range of products that will be the lightest and thinnest in their respective categories throughout the whole tech sector.
Analysts Jeff Pu and Ross Young have endorsed this allegation regarding a more streamlined iPhone 17 model.
Pu had earlier in 2024 stated that Apple might decide to stick with the thin form of the iPhone 17 and forego the Plus model the following year.
iPhone 17 series: A blend of aluminum and titanium designs
It is anticipated that the iPhone 17 series—which includes the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Slim—will have an increasingly intricate aluminium design.
The iPhone 17 Pro Max might still, however, be able to show off its titanium body.
Pu predicts that the A18 or A19 bionic chipsets and 8GB of RAM will power the upcoming iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Slim.
It is anticipated that the Pro variants will utilise the A19 Pro chipset and include 12GB of RAM.
Significant camera upgrade expected
With a 24MP front-facing camera, the new series could offer a notable improvement in image quality over the 12MP lenses on the iPhone 15 series.
Under-display Face ID scanners are rumoured to be included in the top-tier models, providing an almost bezel-less appearance.
