Artist Chaitanya Rao talks on his web series’30 Weds 21′

‘New star on the square’ would marginally be a misrepresentation to characterize artist Chaitanya Rao. Yet, his new work ’30 Weds 21′ has summarized everything. The Telugu web series that was delivered on YouTube spread out of control. With amusing images dependent on the characters, it’s anything but a much discussed web arrangement via online media.

Shockingly noteworthy as a new breeze that came as aid to crowds in the lockdown, the web series is being commended for its satire and alternate point of view of wedded couple who battle with an enormous age hole. With a stunning number of perspectives on YouTube, ’30 Weds 21′ featuring Ananya and Chaitanya ahead of the pack, remained as quite possibly the most engaging stories during the pandemic.

Having gone through seven years in the business, artist Chaintanya, who has now begun getting a lot of fame, says the excursion has not been a walk in the park after he quit a worthwhile IT vocation in Australia and got back to track down his actual calling is in film. In the midst of any expectation of vulnerability, he swam through tough situations to see the promising culmination of current circumstances. The Karimnagar-conceived artist previously made his introduction with ‘Bandook’, a 2015 film portraying the Telangana fomentation. After much work, Chaitanya discovered a break with the most recent web series.

“The applause is humongous now. But a year ago, it was an altogether different scenario. I went into depression, lost hope, and I was very much dishevelled because I was not getting a break. Many of my friends, who started their career, have made it big. After my debut, we shot our next movie ‘Hawaa’ which was not well-received. I call it a promotional failure. Since we had no money, we couldn’t promote it well. Another movie in the backdrop of Kasi was halted for some reasons. Lockdown made my life miserable. I was in two minds whether to go back to Australia and resume my professional career,” says the artist who hails from an agrarian family in Karimnagar.

Chaitanya says he drew motivation from Venkatesh Daggubati. “Venkatesh garu’s characters in ‘Aadavari Matalaku Arthale Verule’ and his expressions helped me get into the skin of the character. Venkatesh garu has a great influence on me. Also, Fahadh Faasil and Satyadev are two actors I admire a lot,” he says.

The artist says he presently has a firm balance and he would pick projects while trying different things with different types. “I felt I could crack the middle-class segment, I want to conquer that space where actor Venkatesh did it in wooing audiences. Because the love and admiration for the character Pruthvi in the web series has been amazing,” he adds.
