The song “Renaissance” debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top 200 chart in August 2022. A record for female artists, it was Beyonce’s seventh album to reach the top spot. Since the album’s release, a worldwide tour was anticipated to accompany it. A visual album, which has been rumored for months, has also irritated fans.

Beyonce will perform for the first time in the Bay Area in August, following her appearance at Levi’s in 2018 with her husband Jay-Z during the On the Run II tour. Beyonce debuted her hit “Formation,” the first single from her iconic 2016 visual album “Lemonade,” at the famed, and in some circles controversial, Super Bowl 50 halftime show at Levi’s Stadium.
