Excitement surrounding the release of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 and the pairing of Triptii Dimri and Kartik Aaryan is high. Anees Bazmee’s first schedule wrap-up was announced by the actors.

Using Instagram, Kartik posted a photo of himself and his co-star Triptii Dimri from the sets. For the third installment, Kartik will play his well-known role, Rooh Baba. Kartik and Triptii stood for the camera while wearing character clothing and clutching clapboards.

He shared along with the picture,  “Ting ting ting tiding ting ting. And we’ve wrapped up the 1st schedule #BhoolBhulaiyaa3. This small break between schedules is gonna make me impatient… Rooh Baba’s Cape has some different magic.@aneesbazmee.”

The third installment of the popular franchise, which is helmed by Anees Bazmee and features Vidya Balan in the lead role, is scheduled to premiere in theaters on Diwali 2024. Manjulika was portrayed by Vidya Balan in the 2007 psychological horror-comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa.

Kartik welcomed Vidya to the team on Instagram, writing, “And its happening. Og Manjulika is coming back to the world of BhoolBhulaiyaa. Super thrilled to welcome @balanvidya. This Diwali is going to be crackling #BhoolBhulaiyaa3 @aneesbazmee @tseries.official #BhushanKumar,” he added.

The second section was again directed by Bazmee. Directed by Priyadarshan, Akshay Kumar and Vidya starred in the first segment. Kartik, Tabu, and Kiara Advani shared screen time in the second segment.

Producer Bhushan Kumar commented, “The Bhool Bhulaiyaa franchise holds a special place in our hearts, and I’m very happy to be taking it forward with a creative mind like Anees and an incredible talent like Kartik. Together, we are set to deliver a cinematic experience that will both honor the legacy of the franchise and bring double the laughter and thrill for the audience.”

Aside from this, Kartik just finished filming Chandu Champion, his next project. Chandu Champion, directed by Kabir Khan, is based on the incredible true story of a sportsman and his never-say-die attitude. Kartik is going to play the role of Chandu. Kartik and filmmaker Kabir Khan collaborated for the first time on Chandu Champion.

In addition, Kartik will feature in the upcoming films Captain India by Hansal Mehta and Next by Anurag Basu.
