Tesla founder Elon Musk declared PepsiCo will be the first recipient of his organization’s electric semi-trucks, which are set to begin production after extended delays at last.
Musk said in a tweet Thursday that the battery-powered Class 8 trucks, which sport a 500-mile range and are “super fun to drive,” will show up on Dec. 1.
The trucks are expected to decrease fuel costs and generally fleet emissions for the organization.
The declaration comes at a busy week for Musk, who is likewise the CEO of SpaceX and is currently getting Twitter.
Tesla initially set out to begin production on the electric semis in 2019, however they were repeatedly pushed back because of part deficiencies.
