There are a lot of great smartphone launches scheduled for next week. On May 21 and 22, respectively, the Realme GT 6T and the Infinix GT 20 Pro will launch in India. Poco has now decided to release the much awaited Poco F6 and F6 Pro smartphones on May 23 in the international market.

Poco explained that it will have a launch event in Dubai on May 23 at 15:00 (GMT+4) to celebrate the global debut of the Poco F6 series in a recent post on X (previously Twitter). On the same day in India, the brand will have a special launch event at 4:30 p.m. (IST). The Poco F6 has announced that it would be available in India, although it is yet unknown when the Pro version will be released.

While the Poco F6 and F6 Pro’s specifications and features have not been confirmed by the brand, the teaser on Flipkart has largely confirmed rumours that the former is a rebranded Redmi Turbo 3 and the latter is a rebranded Redmi K70 thanks to a software build intended for the F6 Pro.

Anticipated specifications for the Poco F6 Pro include a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor and up to 16GB of RAM. It is most likely going to have a 6.67-inch OLED screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz and 2K resolution. The gadget will have a 50MP OIS primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro sensor for optics. Furthermore anticipated is a 16MP selfie camera. Anticipated power for the gadget is a 5,000mAh battery pack with 120W rapid charging.

It is anticipated that the standard Poco F6 would have a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and a refresh rate of 120Hz. Under the hood, the smartphone might have a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor with up to 512 GB of UFS 4.0 storage and 12 GB of LPDDR5x RAM. It will have an 8MP Sony IMX355 ultra-wide sensor in addition to a 50MP Sony IMX882 primary sensor.
