After making its debut in China last month, Red Magic has now released the Red Magic 9S Pro smartphone for the global market. The 9S Pro has a fresh appearance and clever AI functions.

A 6.8-inch Full HD+ OLED display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a resolution of 2480 x 1116 pixels is the highlight of the Red Magic 9S Pro. It has a peak brightness of up to 1600 nits, 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut coverage, and 10-bit colour depth. Additionally, the display has both 21600Hz PWM and DC dimming.

With an Adreno 750 GPU and Octa-Core Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Leading version powering it, the phone supports 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB UFS 4.0 of storage in addition to 12GB, 16GB, or 24GB of LPDDR5X RAM. It supports two SIM cards and is powered by Redmagic OS 9.5 running on Android 14. The Red Magic 9S Pro boasts an 80W quick charging 6500mAh battery.

Smart Navigator, which offers voice typing and in-game suggestions in real time, AI Trigger, which lets you customise shoulder button actions based on your playstyle, and Sound Recognition, which recognises sounds in games to help you make decisions, are some of the key AI features.

With a 50MP primary sensor (Samsung GN5), a 50MP 120-degree ultra-wide lens (Samsung JN1), and a 2MP macro camera (GigaDevice GC02M1), the phone has three cameras on its back. The 16MP under-display front camera is included. Three microphones, a 3.5mm audio connection, twin 1115K speakers with DTSULTRA, and an in-display fingerprint sensor are among the additional features.

The gadget has support for dual 4G VoLTE, 5G NSA/SA, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS (L1/L5) + GLONASS, USB Type-C, NFC, and Wi-Fi 6E (2.4GHz, 5GHz, and 6GHz bands). It weighs 229g and has dimensions of 163.98 x 76.35 x 8.9 mm.
