Oppo has formally announced the global and Indian debut of the Find X8 series, along with its new ColorOS 15 user interface, after a launch in China last month. The revelation will happen in Bali, Indonesia, on November 21 at 10:30 AM IST.
If rival Vivo doesn’t make any unexpected announcements about their X200 series, the Find X8 series will be the first smartphone lineup in India to use MediaTek’s most recent Dimensity 9400 chipset.
Oppo Find X8 Series Specifications
At 7.85 mm, the Find X8 has a small profile and weighs only 193 grammes. In contrast, the 6.78-inch display on the Find X8 Pro is larger than the 6.59-inch panel of the Find X8. Both screens have symmetrical, incredibly thin 1.45mm bezels.
A 50MP sensor is included with every lens in the Find X8 series. Main, ultrawide, and telephoto lenses make up the basic Find X8’s three lens set; the Pro variant adds a second telephoto lens for a total of four lenses.
The models also differ in terms of battery size. While the Find X8 Pro has a larger 5,910mAh cell that supports extended usage between charges, the Find X8 only has a 5,630mAh silicon-carbon battery.
The Find X8 Pro is available in Space Black and a special Pearl White with a shimmering finish, while the Find X8 is available in Star Grey and Space Black. A new Quick Button feature on the Find X8 Pro also allows for quicker access to camera features like zoom and speedy snapshot capturing.
Pricing Details Still Under Wraps
The Find X8 series already has a definite price in China, with the Find X8 starting at CNY 4,199 and the Find X8 Pro at CNY 5,299, respectively. However, launch costs in India and around the world are still unknown. All of the information will be disclosed by Oppo at the launch event on November 21.
