Google’s Circle to Search Expands to New Devices, Including Honour Phones

Chinese smartphone manufacturer HONOUR has revealed that both the Magic V3 foldable smartphone and the HONOUR 200 series smartphones will soon support Google’s gesture-driven visual search function, Circle to Search. A press release from HONOUR declaring Google’s Circle to Search available said that users will have a “seamless and intuitive search experience.”

HONOUR 200 series smartphones will be among the first in India to provide this gesture-driven search feature, since they are the first to come with Circle to Search.

Xiaomi’s recently released 14T smartphone, which is anticipated to hit the Indian market by the end of this year, also has Google’s Circle to Search functionality. Furthermore, the Tecno smartphone from China has stated that the next Phantom V Fold 2 will have Circle to Search.

Circle to Search was first included in the Galaxy S24 series and has subsequently been extended to a number of flagship and mid-range Samsung Galaxy and Pixel models.

It has been reported that Circle to Search is receiving additional functionality from Google. While the gesture-driven search tool can currently be used to scan barcodes and QR codes, it is reportedly in development to search for any video using Circle to Search.
