It is verified that the Honour 200 5G series—which includes the Honour 200 Pro 5G and the base Honour 200 5G—will debut in India on July 18. The business has disclosed important information regarding the cameras on both smartphones ahead of launch. There will be three back cameras on both versions. To jointly develop its AI Portrait engine, Honour has teamed up with Paris-based portrait photography company company Harcourt.

Honor 200 5G Series Camera Specifications Revealed

On the business website, the smartphone series’ camera specifications were made public. The Honour 200 Pro 5G has three cameras on its back: a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle macro camera, a 50-megapixel Sony IMX 856 telephoto camera with 2.5x optical zoom, and a 50-megapixel H9000 portrait primary sensor. Optical image stabilisation is included with both the primary camera and the telephoto lens (OIS).

The Pro model has two front cameras: a secondary camera that is, according to the manufacturer, tailored for Indian skin tones, and a 50-megapixel portrait selfie camera with an f/2.1 aperture. There is 4K video recording capabilities for both front and rear cameras. The higher-end model also comes with a Pro video option for better-quality footage.

The primary rear camera of the basic Honour 200 5G has a 50-megapixel 1/1.56-inch Sony IMX906 sensor with OIS and a 50-megapixel Sony IMX856 telephoto lens. Although the third camera’s specifications are unknown, the manufacturer claims it will be similar to the Pro model. It has the same front-facing specs as the Honour 200 Pro 5G.

The smartphones will also get a number of additional photographic functions. There are now three distinct lighting effects available: Harcourt Vibrant, Harcourt Colour, and Harcourt Classic. Additionally, the smartphones will be equipped with an AI-powered Night Portrait Mode that promises to capture intricate backdrops and portraits in low light. There are now numerous additional AI effects available.

Recently released, the Honour 200 Pro 5G in Europe has a 6.78-inch display and is outfitted with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 CPU. It uses the MagicOS 8.0 skin, which is based on Android 14. A 5,200mAh battery and 100W wired fast charging support power the smartphone. Moreover, 66W wireless fast charging is supported.
