The most recent member of the X-series has been discreetly listed online by Honour. The X6b uses a combination of eye-catching colours and entry-level equipment to target the budget market.
Honor X6b Specifications
The 6.56-inch display is the focal point of the phone’s design. Its HD+ resolution TFT LCD display, however, might not be the best choice for those looking for a crisper viewing experience.
In addition to adding its “Magic Capsule” function, Honour has positioned the front camera inside a waterdrop notch. The latter is a software-based solution that enhances the user experience by expanding system toggles and rotating apps around the notch.
The MediaTek Helio G85 chipset, which powers the X6b, is a dependable chip for regular work but not made for intensive gaming or demanding apps. Along with 128GB or 256GB of storage, users can select between 4GB and 6GB of RAM.
With a 50MP primary sensor and an f/1.8 aperture, the back camera system promises respectable images under bright lighting. It comes with a 2MP depth sensor, probably to help with effects in portrait mode.
On the software front, Android 14 is layered with MagicOS 8.0 on the X6b. A 5,200mAh battery powers the phone and should provide decent endurance on a single charge. When necessary, it offers 35W wired charging for quicker top-ups.
The X6b is available from Honour in a variety of hues, such as Midnight Black, Forest Green, Starry Purple, and Ocean Cyan. Although official pricing and availability information is still pending, the Honour X6b will be a reasonably priced phone in the lineup.
