Honour X60 Pro: An Android smartphone in the Mid-range with Satellite Messaging Capabilities
The X60, a smartphone with a more modern look than its predecessor but maybe with a circular camera hump, is expected to be unveiled at Honor’s next launch event.
Its centrally located, vertically orientated MATRIX 108MP branding bears a striking resemblance to images of the upcoming Huawei Mate 70 series. However, it appears that only two of its three lens inserts will be used, with the third serving as an extra “AI VISION CAMERA” badge.
According to new renders provided with an X50 for comparison by renowned leaker Digital Chat Station, the new camera disc will be set inside rear panels that might be made of either glass or vegan leather, painted in marble-effect blue or orange, respectively.
Despite its rumoured Snapdragon 6-series chipset, the X60 is reportedly going to come with the typically high-end function of satellite communications. The specification, however, may only apply to texting as opposed to calls and may only be accessible on China Mobile’s top-tier “Pro” model, which has 256GB of internal storage and 12GB of RAM.
Along with increased durability ratings that at least match those of the X50, a twin punch-hole eye-care display, an 8/128GB, 8/256GB, and 12/256GB option, and possibly a larger battery, the X60 may also come with other features. It’s expected to launch on October 16, 2024, the following week.
