In the next two to three years, Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) is expected to introduce a number of new SUV models. The new electric micro SUV, the second-generation Venue, and a new small SUV based on the worldwide Bayon are all on the list.
1. New Hyundai Venue:
It’s explained that the second generation Hyundai Venue is under development and should go on sale in 2025. Even though its long list of features is already well-known, major cosmetic and interior improvements are anticipated.
2. Hyundai Inster
In 2026, the Hyundai Inster EV is scheduled to make its Indian debut, aiming to directly challenge the Tata Punch EV. According to WLTP regulations for worldwide markets, the electric micro SUV has a driving range of up to 355 km. It is available for purchase with rapid charging and bi-directional charging capabilities. It also has various high-end technologies and sophisticated driver aid systems.
The 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment display and 10.25-inch digital instrument console are two of the Hyundai Inster’s highlights. In addition, the steering wheel features pixel-themed graphics, the upper door trim garnishes are customisable, and there is a wireless charging station. Heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, and 50/50 split second-row seats with sliding and reclining capabilities are available as options.
3. Hyundai Bayon:
Hyundai plans to launch a new crossover in India that is based on the Bayon, which is offered outside, as part of its plan to increase the number of SUVs it offers. This SUV, codenamed Bc4i, is reportedly scheduled for launch in FY27 and is being developed on the i20 platform.
