Hyundai, a South Korean automaker, is preparing to introduce a new line of cars in India in 2025.
Following a year of significant modifications to current models such as the Creta and Alcazar, the move was made.
Two electric cars (EVs) and a new model of one of its well-liked SUVs will be part of the company’s future portfolio.
Hyundai Creta EV: A new contender in the market
On January 17, the Hyundai Creta’s all-electric version will make its premiere at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025.
This model will compete with the Mahindra BE 6e, Tata’s Curvv EV, and Maruti’s e Vitara.
The 45kWh battery pack that powers the Creta EV can travel about 400 km between charges.
Hyundai Creta EV: A blend of performance and design
With a closed-off “grille” and new alloy wheels that are optimised for aerodynamics, the Creta EV will resemble an electric version of the present Creta.
The cabin is probably going to resemble the Kona marketed abroad and the Alcazar makeover.
Along with other cutting-edge technologies, the car will also get a new three-spoke steering wheel, two 10.25-inch digital screens for the driver’s display and infotainment, and dual-zone climate control.
Hyundai Ioniq 5 facelift: A sportier design
Additionally, Hyundai intends to introduce an updated Ioniq 5 EV in India.
In addition to having a revised steering wheel and additional tactile buttons inside the interior, the updated model will feature sportier design features from the previous N model.
Although there are 84kWh batteries with a 515km WLTP range available elsewhere, it is unknown if India would carry this model.
New Hyundai Venue: A blend of tradition and innovation
Additionally, Hyundai plans to introduce the second-generation Venue in India.
The boxy design of the previous model and its three engine options—1.2-liter gasoline, 1.0-liter turbo-petrol and 1.5-liter diesel—will remain in the new generation.
For a new style, it will have a bigger grille with rectangular parts, a taller bumper, and a split headlight arrangement similar to Creta.
