Experts in Atlanta state rapper 21 Savage is in government immigration custody.
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement representative Bryan Cox says the Grammy-designated craftsman, whose given name is Shayaa Bin Abraham-Joseph, was captured in a focused on task early Sunday in the Atlanta territory.
Cox says Abraham-Joseph is a British resident who entered the U.S. legitimately in July 2005 however outstayed his visa, which terminated in July 2006. Cox said Abraham-Joseph was sentenced on felony drug charges in Georgia in October 2014.
Cox says Abraham-Joseph has been put in extradition procedures in government immigration court.
Abraham-Joseph is assigned for two honors at one week from now’s Grammys, including record of the year for “Rockstar” close by Post Malone.
