The enlarged 2025 Renault Duster, dubbed the Dacia Bigster, has been revealed worldwide and is anticipated to make its India debut in 2025. Before the Bigster’s production-ready version was unveiled today, Dacia, a Renault company, first unveiled the concept form of the vehicle in 2021. It is anticipated that the Bigster, which is the Duster’s seven-seater variant, will also make an entry into the Indian market given that Renault already revealed plans to introduce the Duster there in 2025.
Exterior
The sleek LED headlamps on the front of the Dacia Bigster include Y-shaped features, drawing comparisons to the Duster’s appearance. The absence of plastic covering surrounding the lower grille of the Duster is one obvious distinction. Along with a silver skid plate, the fog lights are mounted next to the bumper.
The Bigster has a tough SUV appearance from the side thanks to its hexagonal wheel arches, up to 19-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, and black body cladding. Placed on the C-pillar are the rear door handles, while the turn indicators are integrated into the side mirrors. It also includes the option of a black roof and silver roof rails.
The Duster’s tail lights and the V-shaped LED tail lights on the back are identical. The boot door has a robust rear bumper with a lighter-colored skid plate, and it has “Dacia” writing above a carbon fibre strip. The back features a generally flat form, which is finished off by an incorporated rear spoiler.
Safety, Interior, and Features
The interior of the Dacia Bigster is decorated in two tones—black and grey—and is made entirely of sustainable materials.
The dashboard shares features with the Duster, including a 10-inch digital driver’s display and a 10.1-inch touchscreen that is angled towards the driver. In addition, it has a panoramic sunroof, dual-zone automated climate control, and a 6-speaker Arkamys sound system.
With manual lumbar support, the driver’s seat has electrical adjustment capabilities. There are rear AC vents, a charging area, and a chilled storage compartment located in the central armrest.
It has a bench seat with a 40:20:40 foldable ratio in the second row. The headrests on all three seats are movable, and the centre seat doubles as an armrest with cupholders when folded down.
The global model has 667 litres of boot space and no third row. The third row is anticipated to be included in the Indian version, which will lower the boot loading capacity.
The Bigster has many airbags, a rearview camera, and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) like adaptive cruise control and automated emergency braking for added safety.

Expected Price And Rivals
The 2025 Renault Duster, which is anticipated to start at around Rs 10 lakh (ex-showroom), would be more expensive than the 7-seater model. It will face competition from mid-size SUVs such as the Mahindra XUV700, Hyundai Alcazar, MG Hector Plus, and Tata Safari.
