On Monday, July 29, the Redmi Pad Pro 5G and Redmi Pad SE 4G were released in India. The brand’s first tablet in India to have cellular and Wi-Fi connectivity is the most recent offering from Xiaomi. The MediaTek Helio G85 SoC powers the Pad SE 4G, while the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset powers the Pad Pro. Based on Android 14, Xiaomi’s HyperOS powers both devices. Only the Wi-Fi and mobile versions of the Redmi Pad Pro model will be offered.
Redmi Pad Pro 5G, Pad SE 4G price and availability
There are only two versions of the Redmi Pad Pro 5G available: Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi + mobile. The Wi-Fi-only Redmi Pad Pro costs $200,999 and is available in 6GB and 128GB RAM configurations. The starting price of the Wi-Fi + Cellular Redmi Pad Pro 5G with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage is Rs. 24,999. For 26,999 rupees, 8GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage are available. Graphite Grey and Mist Blue are the colours available for the Wi-Fi-only edition, and Quick Silver and Graphite Grey are for the Wi-Fi + Cellular version.
The Redmi Pad SE 4G, on the other hand, is priced at Rs. For Rs 10,999, you can get a 4GB RAM and 64GB storage option; for Rs 10,999, you can get a 4GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. City grey, ocean blue, and forest green are the possible colours for this tablet.
There’s also an initial freebie included with the Redmi Pad Pro 5G. Customers are eligible for a 100 million Toman discount. 2,000 for both models when using credit cards from HDFC and ICICI Bank. With debit and credit cards from certain institutions, the same advantages are available in convenient monthly installments (EMI). Starting on August 2 at 12 p.m., both tablet variants will be sold on the company website, in retail locations, and on all major e-commerce platforms.
Redmi Pad Pro 5G specifications and features

The tablet is equipped with a 2nd generation Snapdragon 7s CPU, up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage, and up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM.
The Redmi Pad Pro 5G boasts two 8-megapixel cameras: one on the front and one on the back for optical clarity. A 10,000mAh battery powers the smartphone, and 33W wired fast charging is supported.
The mobile version features two SIM card slots for connectivity; the second slot doubles as a hybrid slot and a microSD card reader. Additionally, in the 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands, it supports Wi-Fi 6, 5, and 4. Additionally, USB Type-C and Bluetooth 5.2 are supported.

The Redmi Pad SE 4G weighs 370 grammes and has dimensions of 211.58 x 125.48 x 8.8 mm. It boasts an 8.7-inch LCD screen with a maximum brightness of 600 nits, one refresh rate of 90 Hz, and resolution of 1340 x 800 pixels. A MediaTek Helio G85 CPU with 4GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 128GB of eMMC 5.1 storage powers the tablet.
An 8-megapixel back camera and a 5-megapixel front camera are part of the optics. The 6650mAh battery within the tablet allows for 10W wired charging.
