Features and Specifications of the Nokia G42 5G
To improve multitasking, the new version has 2GB of virtual RAM in addition to 4GB real RAM. In a similar vein, the earlier models—such as the 8GB RAM—had 8GB of virtual RAM, while the 6GB RAM had 5GB of virtual RAM.
The Nokia G42 5G, which is paired with the Snapdragon 480 Plus 5G CPU, has the same other characteristics. It has a sizable 6.56-inch LCD screen with a refresh rate of 90 Hz and a maximum brightness of 450 nits. With a Corning Gorilla Glass display, it is well protected. Additionally, a 5000 mAh battery with 20W rapid charging technology is included.
The smartphone has two extra 2MP rear cameras in addition to its 50MP primary camera. For taking selfies and making video calls, there is an 8MP front camera. The most recent version of Android is used, and OS upgrades are assured. In the interim, it offers USB Type-C, GNSS, Bluetooth 5.1, and WiFi 6. A 3.5mm audio connection for music, a side-mounted fingerprint reader for simple authentication, and an extra MicroSD card slot allow for increased storage capacity.
In India, the 4GB RAM version will cost Rs 9,999, while the 6GB RAM version would cost Rs 12,499 at that time.
