Astro Silver, Matte Brown, and Sunset Peach are the possible colours for the vanilla model.
Explained That Oppo, the smartphone has “All-Round Armour protection technology” for enhanced resistance against drops and impacts. For extra durability, the chassis is composed of a high-strength alloy. The IP65 rating for dust and water protection applies to both devices.
The Dimensity 7300 system-on-a-chip from MediaTek powers the Oppo Reno 12 series. Oppo’s AI suite of capabilities, which includes AI Clear Face, AI Writer, AI Recording Summary, and AI Eraser 2.0, is a compliment to this gear.
With a 5000mAh battery that supports 80W SUPERVOOC wired charging, both models claim to be fully charged from 0% to 100% in just 46 minutes.
With three cameras—a 50MP Sony LYT-600 primary sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS), a 50MP telephoto camera with a 2x zoom using the Samsung JN5 sensor, and an 8MP Sony IMX 355 ultra-wide-angle lens—the Oppo Reno 12 Pro leads the field in camera technology.
The 50MP primary sensor and 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens remain the same on the normal Oppo Reno 12, but a 2MP macro lens takes the place of the telephoto lens. The Pro variant has a 50MP camera for selfies, while the basic model has a 32MP sensor.
