India’s First BMW M2 Sports Car Costs ₹1.03 Crore

BMW raised the standard in its class with the introduction of the second-generation M2 sports car in India.

The high-performance model costs ₹1.03 crore (ex-showroom) and is available as a Completely Built-Up (CBU) unit.

With increased power, a striking appearance, and cutting-edge technology, the new M2 raises the bar for its class.

BMW M2: A Blend of Power and Aesthetics

In addition to metallic hues like Brooklyn Grey, Black Sapphire, Fire Red, Portimao Blue, Sao Paulo Yellow, and Skyscraper Grey, the 2018 BMW M2 is also available in non-metallic Alpine White and M Zandvoort Blue.

Standard Black Leather Vernasca with Blue or Black contrast stitching with a special emphasis is one of the upholstery options.

The M Carbon Bucket seats are the only option for the Black leather Merino with special highlights.

BMW M2’s Exterior Features and Performance Enhancements

With black exhaust tailpipes as standard, the new BMW M2’s appearance is a testimony to its potent performance.

The car has a three-section lower air intake that maximises cooling for the brakes and drivetrain, as well as a M Frameless kidney grille with horizontal bars for an aggressive appearance.

The racing-inspired style is further enhanced by the sculpted diffuser on the rear apron, wide wheel arches, and flared side skirts.

BMW M2’s Interior Features and Wheel Configuration

The BMW M2 features new M light-alloy wheels with a double-spoke design and a 19-/20-inch wheel combination.

For improved racing feel, the revised M leather steering wheel features reworked spokes and a flat-bottomed rim.

The vehicle’s interior features a 14.9-inch central information display as part of the BMW Curved Display and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster.

Weight-minimized option M For enhanced comfort and flair, carbon bucket seats with Merino leather surfaces are also offered.

BMW M2’s Engine Specifications and Performance

A six-cylinder in-line engine with a maximum output of 480 horsepower powers the new BMW M2.

Power delivery is linear and sustained throughout the rpm range thanks to the automatic transmission’s peak torque of 600 Nm and the manual transmission’s peak torque of 550 Nm.

For improved driving dynamics, the vehicle also has M Sport Differential, M high-performance compound brakes, and Adaptive M-Specific Suspension.
