The official launch date of Infinix’s GT 20 Pro gaming smartphone in India has been confirmed. It’ll show up on May 21.
The phone, which made its debut last month, will be available alongside the GT Book and the GT Verse game platform.
This ecosystem includes a range of accessories, including the RGB mat, RGB headphones, MagCase, cooling fan, Finger Sleeves, and RGB mouse.
A look at hardware and more
The Dimensity 8200 Ultimate chipset powers the Infinix GT 20 Pro, which also has a dedicated Pixelworks X5 Turbo gaming display chip.
It is therefore the first dual-chip smartphone from the brand.
It comes preconfigured with XOS 14 and has a large 256GB UFS3.1 storage capacity in addition to 8GB or 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM.
What RAM configuration(s) would be offered in India at launch, though, is still unknown.
Display, design, and camera features
With a built-in fingerprint reader and a 6.78-inch, 144Hz Full-HD+ LTPS AMOLED display, the GT 20 Pro has a punch-hole for its 32MP selfie camera.
Four lighting effects and eight colour combinations are supported by the ‘Mecha Loop’ LED interface on the back panel, which displays a ‘Cyber Mecha Design’.
Three rear cameras are also included on the smartphone: a 108MP primary camera (with OIS), a 2MP macro, and a 2MP depth sensor.
Battery, audio, and color options
A powerful 5,000mAh battery that can support 45W of rapid charging powers the Infinix GT 20 Pro.
In addition, the smartphone has two JBL-tuned speakers and NFC for improved audio quality.
Mecha Orange, Mecha Silver, and Mecha Blue are the three colour variants that will be available, giving users a range of design alternatives.
