Kia Syros 2025: Introduction, Price, Features, Bookings, and other Key Details

Date of the 2025 Kia Syros Launch:The fifth model in Kia India’s SUV lineup for the Indian market is the Syros, the company’s much anticipated small SUV. Placed between the Kia Seltos and Sonet, the Syros is dubbed “a new species of SUV” and is meant to appeal to a more affluent consumer, hence enhancing Kia’s attractiveness in the very competitive SUV industry.

Reservations for the Syros will open on January 3, 2025, and pricing is expected to be revealed during the Bharat Mobility Show in January 2025. Delivery is anticipated to begin in early February. Strong rivals like as the Hyundai Venue, Maruti Brezza, Mahindra XUV300, Tata Nexon, and the soon-to-be Skoda Kylaq will compete with the Syros when it is released.

Kia Syros 2025: Design and Exterior

The Syros is the first SUV manufactured in India to employ Kia’s new style language, Design 2.0. Inspired by the Kia EV9, the Syros boasts a powerful front bumper, vertical LED daytime running lights, and a strong, eye-catching visage.

Its side profile is highlighted by its low roofline, sleek door handles, and 17-inch dual-tone alloy wheels. The wrap-around L-shaped LED tail lights at the back of the Syros give it a contemporary and distinctive look that perfectly complements the roofline.

2025 Kia Syros: Interior and Features

The Syros distinguishes apart because to a variety of upscale characteristics intended to appeal to a more discerning client. A digital driver’s display and a touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are part of the interior’s 30-inch panoramic dual-screen setup.

Kia Syros: Safety and Technology

In terms of safety, Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) have equipped the Syros with 16 adaptive capabilities, including lane-keep assistance. The SUV also comes equipped with hill-start assistance, electronic stability control, and six airbags as standard.

Powertrain options

The Syros will be offered with both diesel and petrol engine options. The 1.0-liter turbocharged engine in the petrol variant generates 118 horsepower and 172 Nm of torque. It can be mated to a six-speed manual gearbox or a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox.

Either a six-speed manual or a six-speed torque converter automatic transmission can be used with the 1.5-liter diesel engine, which generates 116 horsepower and 250 Nm.
