Launch in India of the Vivo V40 Series with IP68 Rating: What to expect

In August, the Vivo V40 series is anticipated to debut in India. The Vivo V40 and V40 Pro are part of the series. Consumer technology news platform 91mobiles reports that the Vivo V40 Pro was recently seen on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification website. The Vivo V40 and V40 Lite have already been released in Europe, and the Indian version is expected to contain the same features.

According to 91mobiles, the Vivo V40 series is expected to be the slimmest phone in the market in India with a 5,500mAh battery. A 6.78-inch 3D curved AMOLED display with 2,800 x 1260 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hz will be included on the smartphones. It is expected that the screen can withstand a peak brightness of 4,500 nits. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 with Adreno 720 GPU will power the gadget. A brand-new infinity eye camera module will be featured. Like the European model, the smartphone will come with an IP68 designation for resistance to dust and water.

The Pro model will have various enhancements to support the “pro” designation, but it will still have the same IP rating and battery as the standard model. It is anticipated that the smartphone would have Zeiss optics cameras capable of multi-focus portraiture. It is expected that the device would feature USB Type-C 80W rapid charging.

In India, the series is expected to debut in Titanium Grey, Lotus Purple, and Ganges Blue colour options, with Ganges Blue serving as the new colour option.
