Launched in India on August 9th, the Lamborghini Urus SE

The most potent version of the SUV, the Lamborghini Urus SE, produces 950 Nm and 800 horsepower. Four months after its April international debut, on August 9 in New Delhi, it will make its Indian debut.

Lamborghini Urus SE Design and Features

The updated hood of the Urus SE juts more forward than that of earlier iterations. It also has smaller LED headlamps with Matrix technology and a new LED signature. Updates have been made to the tailboard area, front and rear bumpers. This variant is sold internationally with 21-, 22-, or 23-inch wheels wrapped in Pirelli P Zero tyres.

New panels and AC vents have been added to the interior dashboard. The centrepiece is a brand-new 12.3-inch touchscreen that replaces the outdated 10.1-inch screen that was present in earlier generations. The current Lamborghini software is operated on this larger screen, which is shared with the Revuelto.

Lamborghini Urus SE Powertrain and Performance

The 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine of the Urus SE is coupled with a plug-in hybrid technology that uses a 25.9kWh lithium-ion battery pack to power the vehicle. The eight-speed automatic gearbox’s integrated electric motor raises the system’s overall output to 800 horsepower and 950 Nm.

According to Lamborghini, the Urus SE can cover up to 60 kilometres only on electricity. With an all-wheel-drive system, the SUV reaches a top speed of 312 mph and can accelerate from 0 to 100 mph in just 3.4 seconds.

Lamborghini Urus SE Price and Rivals

The Urus cost Rs 3 crore when it was originally released in India in 2018. The prices of subsequent versions, such as the Urus Performante and S, were Rs 4.22 crore and Rs 4.18 crore, respectively.

Expect the SE to be substantially more pricey because to its hybrid powertrain. Other high-end performance SUVs like the BMW XM, Audi RSQ8, Lotus Eletre, Porsche Cayenne GTS, and Aston DBX 707 will be competitors for the Urus SE.

With this introduction, Lamborghini takes a big stride forward in the Indian luxury car industry by attracting affluent customers with its cutting-edge technology and improved performance features.
