The newest model in the brand’s Portrait Experts series, the OPPO Reno12 5G and OPPO Reno12 Pro 5G, is available in two variations and is expected to bring advanced and user-friendly AI technology, supporting the company’s objective of enabling more Filipinos to enjoy the benefits of using AI smartphones.
Enthusiastic AI-imaging capabilities like the enhanced AI Eraser 2.0, which can now remove people for quicker and easier photobomber removal, are among the many features packed within the OPPO Reno12 Series 5G. In addition, since the Smart Lasso and Paint Over features were first introduced in April of last year in the OPPO Reno11 Series 5G, there has been an improvement in accuracy. Additionally, the OPPO Reno12 Series 5G comes with AI Studio, an app that comes pre-installed and allows you to use a number of artistic effects and likenesses to turn any photo of yourself into your own digital avatar or profile picture.
The OPPO Reno12 5G, which upholds the high quality of photography set by the Reno Series, has a 50-megapixel (MP) Sony LYT-600 sensor for its primary camera, which has All Pixel Omni-Directional PDAF and OIS. Meanwhile, the OPPO Reno12 Pro 5G has a 50-MP telephoto portrait camera.
The 32 MP and 50 MP selfie cameras on the OPPO Reno12 5G and OPPO Reno12 Pro 5G also have sophisticated AI portrait features that support Autofocus and Portrait Mode, enabling users to alternate between various magnification settings to capture the ideal picture. For both solo and group shots, the Natural Tone function on both phones will intelligently change exposure based on the scenario, helping to produce more realistic lighting effects and skin tones.
OPPO’s next-generation patented communication technology, AI LinkBoost, will revolutionise connectivity standards with the OPPO Reno 12 Series 5G. With its nine separate antennae, it has a 360-degree Surround Antenna system that can deliver strong connectivity in even the most difficult situations. Additionally, its BeaconLink technology increases Bluetooth uplink performance by 300 percent, allowing audio communications between devices via Bluetooth at distances of up to 200 metres in a fully unplugged setting.
In order to demonstrate the potential of AI LinkBoost to improve connectivity, OPPO and Smart Communications have worked together to conduct a number of testing using the OPPO Reno12 Series 5G. These trials include network switching, congested regions, weak signal areas, and recovery tests. In all four categories, the OPPO Reno12 5G and OPPO Reno12 Pro 5G outperformed rival brands with outstanding results.
