Launched With Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 and 6 Gen 1 Chipsets, the Vivo Y200 GT and Y200t

In China, the Vivo Y200t and Y200 GT smartphones have made their debut. The GT version boasts an AMOLED display and a more potent Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC than the Y200t, which sports an LCD panel and a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 CPU. Both phones include a sizable 6,000mAh battery and a 50-megapixel dual camera system.

Vivo Y200t, Y200 GT specifications and features

The Vivo Y200t weighs 199 grammes and has dimensions of 165.7 x 76 x 7.99 mm. Its front panel is a 6.72-inch IPS LCD panel with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and FHD+ resolution. It boasts a 50-megapixel primary camera and a 2-megapixel depth camera system in addition to an 8-megapixel front-facing camera.

The Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 CPU, up to 12 GB of LPDDR4x RAM, and up to 512 GB of UFS 2.2 storage are all included in the Y200t. The gadget has a 6,000mAh battery that can be charged quickly—44W. It sports a side-facing fingerprint scanner for added security.

The Vivo Y200 GT weighs 194 grammes and has dimensions of 163.72 x 75.88 x 7.98 mm. It features a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 144 Hz and 1.5K resolution. The device features a 50-megapixel primary camera and a 2-megapixel depth lens on its back panel in addition to a 16-megapixel front-facing camera.

The Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 CPU, up to 12 GB of LPDDR4x RAM, and up to 512 GB of UFS 2.2 storage are all included in the Y200t GT. The phone has an enormous 6,000mAh battery that can be charged quickly (80W). The gadget has an in-screen fingerprint scanner for security.

Android 14 runs on the Vivo Y200 GT and Y200t, powered by OriginOS 4. Connectivity features include dual SIM, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2 (Y200t) / Bluetooth 5.4 (Y200 GT), and a USB-C connector are available on both phones. The GT model does not support the 3.5mm audio jack that is included on the Y200t.

Vivo Y200t, Y200 GT price and availability

Four variants of the Vivo Y200t and Y200 GT—8GB+128GB, 8GB+256GB, 12GB+256GB, and 12GB+512GB—have made their way into China. The costs of the Y200t variations are 1,199 Yuan (about $170), 1,299 Yuan (about $185), 1,499 Yuan (about $210), and 1,699 Yuan (about $240), in that order. It will be offered in Aurora (green) and Qingshan (blue). The prices of the Y200 GT variants, on the other hand, are 1,799 Yuan (~$250), 2,299 Yuan (~$325), 1,999 Yuan (~$280), and 1,599 Yuan (~$225). Storm and Thunder colour options are available.

The Y200i and Y200 are two more phones in the Y200 series. The Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chip is found in the Y200i, which was released in China in April. Conversely, the specifications of the Vivo Y200 and Y200t are identical. It comes in colours like orange, white, and black, though, and has a unique rear design. Remarkably, the Y200 variations come with hefty prices: 1,599 Yuan (~$225), 1,799 Yuan (~$250), 1,999 Yuan (~$280), and 2,299 Yuan (~$325), in that order.
