Accessorised Exterior
The Waggon R Waltz Edition has some new accessories but generally has the same exterior design:
- Front fog lamps
- Wheel arch cladding
- Bumper protectors
- Side skirts
- Body side moulding
- Chrome grille inserts
- Door visor
The Waggon R has a tallboy design with alloy wheels (available only on the Zxi Plus model; other variants come with steel wheels) and halogen tail lights in addition to fog lamps and halogen headlights.
Same Interior With Different Materials
With new seat coverings, the Waggon R Waltz Edition’s interior is identical to that of the standard vehicle. For the Vxi and Zxi versions, it has a steering wheel cover in addition to a blue floor mat. A tissue box, a door sill protector, and a two-port rapid smartphone charging are extra features. In contrast, the dual-tone seat upholstery of the ordinary Waggon R is black and white. All other features of the standard Waggon R are retained in the Waltz Edition.
A Few Feature Additions
Along with certain new features, the Maruti Waggon R Waltz Edition retains the variant-specific features from before.

The fully loaded Zxi Plus edition already comes with all these capabilities. The Lxi, Vxi, and Zxi versions’ equipment list has not undergone any more feature revisions.
Powertrain Options
The Waggon R comes with two different petrol engines: a 1.2-liter engine (90 PS and 113 Nm) that can be had with a 5-speed manual or 5-speed AMT (automatic manual gearbox) or a 1-liter engine (67 PS and 89 Nm) that can be had with either option.
With a 1-liter engine producing 57 horsepower and 82 Nm, the CNG variant only has a manual gearbox.
Rivals
The Waggon R is available for purchase in India for between Rs 5.54 lakh and Rs 7.33 lakh (ex-showroom). It is competitive with the Citroen C3, Tata Tiago, and Maruti Celerio.
