Mercedes-Benz CLE 300 Cabriolet, Priced at Rs. 1.1 core

  • Launched alongside the AMG GLC 43 Coupe facelift
  • Gets a 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine

The CLE Cabriolet was introduced by Mercedes-Benz India and is priced at Rs. 1.10 crore (ex-showroom). There is only one CLE 300 version of the new two-door convertible available. Notably, just a little quantity will be imported into India.

The new CLE boasts a long bonnet with ridges, a sleek LED DRL incorporated in the headlamps, a massive low-slung mesh grille with a prominent company logo in the centre, and sportier front and rear bumpers with an AMG theme. In addition, the performance Cabriolet has a retractable fabric roof that can be fully extended in 20 seconds and reached a top speed of 60 kmph. It is also fitted with 19-inch AMG alloy wheels.

The CLE 300 Cabriolet’s features are the same as those of the C-Class of today. A three-spoke steering wheel with a 12.3-inch digital indicator panel, an 11.9-inch touchscreen infotainment screen running the most recent MBUX software, smartphone connectivity, climate control, and powered and ventilated AMG seats are just a few of the many features that come standard.

The 2.0-liter turbo-petrol engine connected to a nine-speed torque converter unit and a 48V mild hybrid system powers the CLE 300 Cabriolet mechanically. This motor is rated to run from zero to 100 kmph in just 6.6 seconds, producing 255 horsepower and 400 Nm of peak torque.
