Tomorrow is the Mercedes-Maybach EQS 680’s India debut. This is the first-ever Maybach EQS for the carmaker overall as well as for India. It will be available as a fully loaded model with every amenity Mercedes offers for its Maybach family, just like its ICE sister.
The India-spec 680, which is based on the EQS SUV, is available in two different seating configurations: five seats and four seats. The back seat kit is amazing and has everything you need for both entertainment and comfort. Boss mode package, limited to the left-rear occupant, is another feature Mercedes has thrown into the bundle.
With its gigantic 56-inch MBUX hyperscreen spanning the dashboard, the front row is as remarkable. Along with electrically controlled operations for the steering wheel and seats, the front package also includes a hot and cold massage function.
The EQS 680 Maybach is propelled by two electric motors and a 122kWh battery pack. The motors come with 4MATIC AWD as standard and have an output of 649bhp/950Nm.
Although there isn’t a true competitor for the EQS Maybach right now, Range Rover, Bentley, Rolls Royce, and BMW will likely pose a threat in the future.
