In China, the Moondrop MIAD 01 has been fully revealed. With a few features geared towards audiophiles, it’s the first phone from the audio-focused brand. The smartphone’s two headphone ports on top are one of them. The first is a balanced 4.4 mm jack, while the second is a 3.5 mm single-ended jack. The balanced jack provides 4Vrms of output, while the first provides 2Vrms.

In addition, the quad-channel dual Cirrus Logic MasterHiFi DACs are a feature of the audiophile Android phone. Although Moondrop hasn’t stated which model precisely, the CS43198 may be it. As a result, the MIAD 01 can provide a 118 dB SINAD and a dynamic range of 132 dB. However, there are more functions with an auditory focus. The Moondrop MIAD 01 features a six-layer gold-sinking independent circuit and a separate LDO power source. Regarding the phone component, the MediaTek Dimensity 7050, a mid-range eight-core CPU, powers the company’s first smartphone. This CPU is matched with 12 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. Despite appearing to have just one configuration, the MIAD 01 has a dedicated microSD card slot. The MIAD 01 has two cameras mounted on its back. Moondrop has not disclosed the specifications of the secondary camera, however the main sensor is a 64 MP device.
