Motorola Launches A New Sub-£100 Smartphone Running Android 14

Almost eighteen months after releasing the Moto E13 (now $89.95 on Amazon), Motorola has today unveiled the Moto E14. By the way, the initial information about the Moto E14 surfaced about two months ago. It was accurate to claim that the device will have a 5,000 mAh battery, however it did not appear to allow 20 W wired charging.

Alternatively, the Moto E14’s 5,000 mAh battery may be charged at 15 W (5V/3A). Even yet, this is still a 50% better model than the one from the previous year. Sadly, the Moto E14 still sports the Unisoc Tiger T606 processor from its predecessor along with 5 MP front- and 13 MP rear-facing cameras. Furthermore, Motorola is only selling the Motor E14 with 2 GB of RAM, despite having moved from eMMC 5.1 to UFS 2.2 flash storage.

On the other hand, the Moto E14 has a more modern design with thinner display bezels and a larger screen-to-body ratio. Motorola claims that the phone sports a 6.56-inch IPS display inside a 163.5 x 74.5 x 8 mm chassis, shielded by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. To put things in perspective, the panel has a refresh rate of 90 Hz and outputs 1,612 x 720 pixels. The Moto E14 is now retailing for £69.99 in the UK and comes in graphite grey, pastel green, and pastel purple colour variants.
