The upcoming introduction of the Reno 12 series in India has been confirmed by Oppo. The gadgets have been hinted at and displayed on Flipkart landing pages.

On July 12, 2024, Reno 12 and Reno 12 Pro will go on sale in India. The storage settings for the Reno 12 series have also been made public by these sources. There will be a base Oppo Reno 12 5G variant with 256GB of internal storage and 8GB of RAM available. The more advanced Reno 12 Pro 5G, on the other hand, will be available with 12GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB of storage at launch.

The next Reno 12 series’ colour possibilities were also made public. Oppo’s Reno 12 is scheduled to release in India on Matte Brown, Sunset Peach, and Astro Silver. Conversely, there will only be two colour options available for the Reno 12 Pro: Space Brown and Sunset Gold. Recall that the Pro model has a quad curved display, while the Reno 12 has a twin curved screen. The initial release of these devices took place in China in May of 2024.

Both phones will have a sizable 5,000mAh battery capacity that enables 80W wired fast charging, the manufacturer has announced. The Oppo Reno 12 series will debut with a number of AI-powered capabilities. This includes the AI Eraser 2.0 function, which employs generative AI to very accurately remove background distractions, and the AI Best Face feature, which detects facial expressions and fixes closed eyelids in images.
