Oppo Reno 12 Series with Triple Rear Cameras to Release on May 23; Teaser Images
The Oppo Reno 12 series, which replaces the Oppo Reno 11 lineup, will go on sale later this month. The new lineup’s debut date in China has been announced by the firm. Additionally, Oppo has affirmed that the Reno 12 and Reno 12 Pro would be part of the lineup. Even the phone’s rear panel design was disclosed by the business.
Oppo explained that the Oppo Reno 12 series will debut in China on May 23 at 4 p.m. local time (1:30 p.m. IST) in a Weibo post. It is hinted to have a “silver” appearance, implying that the handsets will have silver finishes when they arrive. The future phones’ rear panel design was also disclosed by the business.The Oppo Reno 12 Pro is seen in a purple colorway, while the Oppo Reno 12 is featured in a silver shade. Both phones have elliptical back camera modules in the upper left corner and glossy, sparkly surfaces.
Oppo withheld further information regarding the phones. Still, the Reno 12 series is hinted at in another social media post, promising to “bring you unexpected innovative ways to take photos.” The Oppo Enco Air 4 Pro, which has a battery life of up to 44 hours, has also been hinted to by Oppo. Although the exact launch date of these true wireless earbuds is unknown, it’s possible that they’ll be revealed during the Reno 12 launch.
A MediaTek Dimensity 8250 SoC is expected to power the standard Oppo Reno 12 model, while a MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ chipset is expected to power the Pro model. It is expected that both phones would have triple-rear 50-megapixel cameras.
A 6.7-inch, 120Hz, 1.5K display and a 5,000mAh battery with 80W wired fast charging capability are anticipated features of the Oppo Reno 12 Pro. Along with a 50-megapixel portrait sensor with a 2x optical zoom, it is also expected to include a 50-megapixel primary rear sensor and a 50-megapixel front camera sensor.
In January of this year, the Oppo Reno 11 5G and Oppo Reno 11 Pro 5G were introduced in India. The standard model costs Rs. 29,999 for the 8GB + 128GB variant, while the Pro variant costs Rs. 39,999 for the 12GB + 256GB choice.
