The Oppo Reno 13 series, which replaced the Reno 12 series that made its debut in May, has been introduced in China. The Oppo Reno 13 and Reno 13 Pro are two of its models. The chipset, the majority of the cameras, the display quality, and the charging rates are among the many features that both smartphones have in common. The Oppo Reno 13 variants are the first phones to use MediaTek’s proprietary X1 chip for enhanced wireless connection in conjunction with the company’s new Dimensity 8350 chipset.
Oppo Reno 13, Reno 13 Pro Price
The base 12GB+256GB Oppo Reno 13 model costs CNY 2,699, or about Rs. 31,000. There are five different RAM and storage options available for the phone, with the most expensive 16GB+1TB model costing CNY 3,799 (about Rs. 44,000). Butterfly Purple, Galaxy Blue, and Midnight Black are the colour options available.
The top-end 16GB+1TB storage model costs CNY 4,499 (about Rs. 52,000), while the Oppo Reno 13 Pro 12GB+256GB option costs CNY 3,399 (approximately Rs. 39,000).
Oppo Reno 13, Reno 13 Pro Specifications
A 6.59-inch (1256×2760 pixel) AMOLED screen with full-HD+ resolution, a refresh rate of 120 Hz, a pixel density of 460 ppi, and a maximum brightness of 1,200 nits is included with the Oppo Reno 13. With a maximum clock speed of 3.35GHz, the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 chipset powers it. It also has up to 1TB of UFS 3.1 onboard storage and up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM. For wireless connectivity, it also receives Oppo’s X1 chip.
A 50-megapixel primary camera with optical image stabilisation (OIS) and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle lens make up the Reno 13’s dual rear camera configuration. For selfies, it also has a 50-megapixel front camera.
It weighs 181g and has the following dimensions: 157.90 x 74.73 x 7.4mm. A 5,600mAh battery that supports 80W (wired) and 50W (wireless) rapid charging powers the phone.
With a few exceptions, the Oppo Reno 13 Pro’s specs are comparable to those of the base model. It receives a slightly larger 6.83-inch (1272×2800 pixel) screen with the same peak brightness and refresh rate. The CPU, RAM, and storage options of the handset are identical to those of the base model.
It adds a third 50-megapixel telephoto camera with 3.5x optical zoom, but it still has the same two lenses as the Reno 13. With the same charging speed, the larger 5,800mAh battery is also included in the Reno 13 Pro. The two Reno 13 series versions have an IP69 rating to prevent dust and water intrusion and are powered by ColorOS 15, which is based on Android 15. The handset weighs 197g and has dimensions of 162.73 x 76.55 x 7.55mm.
