Display and Build

The 6.7-inch FullHD+ OLED screens on the Reno 12 and Reno 12 Pro, which feature subtle curves on all sides and a refresh rate of 120 Hz, will be protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. The rear cover will also have same protective glass.

The smartphones will have frames made of die-cast aluminium alloy and be water and dust resistant up to IP65. 5,000 mAh batteries with support for 80W cable charging will be housed in them.

Imaging and AI Capabilities

AI-powered photography capabilities including automatic frame correction, blink recognition, and background replacement will be included in the series. Additional AI features include summarization, math problem-solving document scanning, and audio transcription.

AI-based text production and summation will be available on smartphones through a number of apps, such as “AI Recording,” which may be used to voice record and summarise lengthy online texts. An assistant to write will be provided by the “AI Writer” feature.

“AI LinkBoost,” which enhances network connectivity in places with weak signals, and “AI Clear Voice,” which reduces background noise during phone calls in noisy surroundings, are two of the series’ connectivity features.
